Residential
A garden that suits the way you already live outside.
Private garden work runs from a single terrace or planting scheme to a whole garden taken from survey through to handover. The starting point is always the same: what the site gives you, and what you actually want to do out there.

What we work out before anything is drawn.
- How the garden is reached and used
- Where you step out, where the sun is at the hour you actually sit outside, and how you get from the house to the far end without crossing wet grass.
- Privacy and shelter
- Screening that works at eye level from the seat, not from the plan view — and shelter from the wind that spoils an evening rather than the one on the weather map.
- Level and threshold
- Steps, ramps and terrace levels set against the building's damp-proof course and drainage so water leaves the house, not gathers at it.
- Planting you can live with
- Schemes matched to how much time you want to spend in the garden, and to the aspect and soil you actually have.
- Evenings and after dark
- Restrained lighting that makes level changes safe and gives depth after dark without lighting the neighbours.
- How it will be kept
- We discuss maintenance while designing, so the garden that gets built is the one you can keep.
